Joeann Maillo is a Cuban/American artist whose paintings are characterized by her Caribbean culture through fluid, organic forms along with a vivid use of color. Cuban architecture and other local themes are used to reference her native heritage. She currently offers a wide range of charcoal and graphite drawings depicting various iconic celebrities, portraits, seascapes, landscapes, etc. She offers paintings in Oil and acrylic, but enjoys using different mediums as well. Joeann enjoys using a wide variety of unconventional objects such as mailboxes, wood, tile, drywall, rubber, iron etc. in place of canvas; giving her paintings a stylish, eclectic, and abstract appeal. She has specialized in custom work for over four years and continues to produce one of a kind art that is both appealing and affordable to the public.
